Boyce D Hansen, 72, of Lindon passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. Boyce was born March 24, 1946 in Lehi, Utah to Russell Albert and Genevieve Allred Hansen. He married NaDeane Reay on March 12, 1971.

Boyce grew up in Lindon and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1964. Boyce worked at Hill Field Air Force Base for 36 years as an Aviation Instrument Repair Specialist. He received many awards recognizing his accomplishments.

Boyce loved the outdoors hunting and fishing with his family. Many good times were had at the family lake house in Scofield. One of Boyce’s hobbies was wood carving.

He won several Blue Ribbons for his bird carvings. He is survived by his wife NaDeane of Lindon; two children: Doni Lynn (Tim) Skribiski, New Hampshire and James (Lisa) Hansen, Lindon; seven grandchildren; brothers: Kay (Claudette) Hansen, Chris (Charlene) Hansen, and Clark (Nancy) Hansen. He was preceded in death by his son, Russell Dean Hansen and brother, R Lynn and his wife, Joyce Hansen.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 12:00 noon in the Lindon City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent and full obituary information may be obtained at www. olpinmortuary.com.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the local food bank in Boyce’s in name.
