OBITUARY Bradley “Brad” Alvin Slife June 18, 1955 – January 20, 2019 Bradley “Brad” A. Slife, age 63 of Trussville, AL passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Brad was a wonderful and devoted husband and father who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. He was a true gentleman whom always put the needs of his family and others first.

Brad was born in California and raised in LaSalle, Co He was an avid Auburn football and basketball fan and loved his Denver Broncos. Brad was retired from the Jefferson County Board of Registrars with over 29 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Evelyn Slife and a sister, Beth Abernathy. Brad is survived by his wife, Paula A. Slife; a son, Tyler and his wife Carrie; two granddaughters, Marin and Kelty; a brother-in-law, Gary Abernathy; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Thursday, January 24th from 11 AM to 12:45 PM with graveside services at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville beginning at 1 PM.

The family would like to thank St. Vincent’s Home Health Care and Hospice, also the medical staff of St. Vincent’s East Hospital and the Alabama Oncology (Dr. Tucker) for their loving care. Please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
