Brandon Michael Scott, formerly of Meadville, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 25, 2018 in Pittsburgh. Brandon was born on February 28, 1966 in Greenville, to Kenneth and Cheryl (Kolesar) Scott. Brandon attended Meadville High School and was a member of the National Honor Society and great supporter of all sports while there.

After high school he attended the University of Pittsburgh where he became interested in a career in the restaurant and hospitality industry. … Read More » This career spanned over the past thirty years and led him to meet many close friends and really enjoy and appreciate the city of Pittsburgh. “B” as his family called him, was a kind, charismatic man with an outgoing personality.

His outgoing personality made him a natural leader and social connector. You could not meet B and not love him. He loved all things Pittsburgh, especially Pittsburgh sports and was a huge fan of Pitt, the Steelers, the Pirates and the Penguins.

He was never happier than when he was watching a Pittsburgh game. B was beloved by his family, especially his sisters and brother who will miss his humor and kindness. His absence leaves a hole in a close family that can never be filled.

He will be missed tremendously as a friend, brother and son. He was preceded in death by an Uncle Jeffrey Kolesar, an Uncle James Scott, an Aunt Donna Scott, and Aunt Irene Kidd and her husband Robert, a grandfather Michael Kolesar and grandmother Betty Kolesar. He is survived by his father Kenneth Scott (Robin) of Springboro, mother Cheryl Scott of Meadville, sisters Lori Scott Minniti of Youngstown, OH, Kelli Scott Ball and her husband Dr. Jason Ball of Meadville, Kerri Scott and her wife Ashley Krause of Boston, MA, and brother Jacob Scott and his wife Katie of Saegertown.

He is also survived by beloved nieces and nephews Joshua (Lauren), Alexa, Nicholas, Mitchell, and Raymond Minniti, Jillian, Kendall, Kellen and Aiden Ball, Cru and Colt Scott. He is further survived by great nephews Dominic and Jordan Minniti, Uncle Ronald (Linda) Scott of Clark, Aunt Delores (Gary) Champion of Sharon, and Aunt Diane Brewington of Oklahoma. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 4-7 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC.
