Brenda A. Marean, 46, passed away June 3, 2018. She is survived by her children Christopher and Melissa Marean both of Port Dickinson, her brother Edward Cochran of Binghamton and sisters Cathy (Don) Campbell of Binghamton, Barbara (Steve)Glanville of Endicott and Annette (Brian) Hammond of Johnson City, her “granddog” Claire, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a longtime best friend Kathy Horton. She was predeceased by her parents Albert Cochran and Violet Blank and her grandmother Ann Cochran, who helped raise her.

Brenda had a heart full of love for her family, especially her children, and also the developmentally disabled she cared for at the Broome Developmental Center. “I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone make me dwell in safety” Psalm 4:8. A memorial service will be held 5:00 pm Friday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 pm. She will be buried privately in Glen Castle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers perform an act of kindness for someone.
