Decatur Funeral service for Brenda Ann Kirby, 50, will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 4:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Brooks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mrs. Kirby died on Sunday, July 29, 2018. She was born November 11, 1967, to Odell Scott and Evelyn Virgenia Dogulas Peoples.

Brenda was truly an angel on earth that made it her life’s purpose to take care of others. She gave selflessly and never expected anything in return. She made a difference in every person’s life that she touched.

When Brenda wasn’t working she enjoyed spending time with her family and planning things for her grandsons. She attended First Presbyterian Church in Decatur, AL. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She was a blessing to us all. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include : her Husband,: Jimmy D. Kirby, Decatur, AL One Son: Heath Kirby, (Carol) Hartselle, AL, Two Daughters: Sharona Maples, (Jereme) Decatur, AL, Heather Wann, (Paul) Spanish Fort, AL and Mother: Evelyn Peoples, Town Creek, AL Six Brothers: Randy Scott, Town Creek, AL, Rodger Scott, Town Creek, AL, Tony Scott, Town Creek, AL, Bobby Scott, Trinity, AL, Morris Stephens, Town Creek, AL and Stoney Stephens, Town Creek, AL Seven Grandchildren Pallbearers will be Randy Scott, Rodger Scott, Tony Scott, Bobby Scott, Morris Stephens and Stoney Stephens.
