Falkville Graveside Funeral service and Interment for James Hoyt Cloer, 82, will be Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Graveside in Union Hill Cemetery with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, July 27, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Cloer died on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at his residence. He was born December 27, 1935, in Morgan County to Lovick Cloer and Lura James Cloer. He was formerly the Automotive Service Manager for McRae Lincoln Mercury in Decatur, prior to his retirement.

He also served in and is a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons: Michael and Scott Cloer, a daughter: Regina Cloer, two brothers: Ronald and Bobby Ray Cloer, and a sister: Katherine Cloer McCollum. Survivors include : his Wife, Geraldine P. Cloer One Sister: Geraldine Holmes Two Grandchildren: Miles Cloer and Byron Cloer Peck Funeral Home 1600 Hwy 31 SW P.O. Box 427 Hartselle, AL 35640 256.
