Hartselle Funeral service for Ralph Shelton, 91, will be Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Lancaster and Rev. Curtis Koscheski officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mr. Shelton died on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

He was born June 17, 1927, in Lamar County to Hayes Rucelle Shelton and Malinda Adell Robertson Shelton. He was a truck driver for Interstate Motor Freight prior to his retirement and loved working and doing things around his church. He was an active member of the Spring Avenue Church of the Nazarene.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Mary Dale Green. Survivors include: his Wife, Elsie Inez Shelton One Son: Ralph Duane Shelton, Hixson, TN One Daughter: Detra Ann Russey, Fultondale, AL Three Grandchildren: Bradley Shelton (Whitney), Leigh Ann Seals (Lee) and Angela Shelton Two Great Grandchildren: Tessa Marie Nail and Tallulah Jane Shelton Peck Funeral Home 1600 Hwy 31 SW P.O.
