Brenda Kay Knight (Reed) resident of Ypsilanti, MI formerly of Adrian, MI went to be with the Lord on June 5th, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital at the age of 64 years. She was known by many names Brenda, Babe, mom, ma, wawa, grandma, grammie, aunt Brendie, and many more.

Nothing about her life was perfect, but it was perfectly imperfect. She loved everyone she came in contact with, she touched many lives. The people that knew her knew that if you asked or didn’t ask she would do anything to help you.

Brenda spent most of her life doing more for the people around her than she did for herself. Brenda will be sadly missed by: Her husband Michael Knight. Her children: Shanell & Kahreem Hunt, Timbarika (Kizzy) & Gavin Higgins, Michelle Knight, Joshua Knaup.

Her grandchildren: Devon Colby, Raven Colby-Williams, Zoey Colby, Kahlynn Hunt, Christopher Knight, Ebony Knight, Kamia Knight, Kacey Bailey, Saffron Higgins, Noemie Higgins, Lily Higgins. Her Siblings: Richard Beach, Robert & Barbara Beach, Mark Cornelius. And many more family and Friends.

Brenda was predeceased by: Her mother Dorothy Reed and her sister-in-law Connie Cornelius Memorial Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, June 16, 2018, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Visitation will also be on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI. www.
