Obituary for Ms. Brenda Lee Sawyer Ms. Brenda Lee Sawyer, 57, of Byrdstown, Tenn. formerly of Calhoun Falls, SC passed away quietly in her sleep on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at her home from a heart attack. Born on March 26, 1960, she was the daughter of Harrison L. Sawyer of Calhoun Falls, SC and Beverly J. Owings of Bloomington, Indiana.

She was a graduate of Calhoun Falls High School and School of Engineering at Purdue University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Surviving in addition to her parents are, brother J. Scott Sawyer (Pattie), sister Mary Cooper (Stan), step-sister Renee McCaslan (Roy) all of Calhoun Falls, SC, and Johanna Liefield (Craig) of Atlanta, Georgia. Half-sisters Angie Sears and Debbie Wilson of Bloomington, Indiana and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was pre-deceased by grandparents Brack and Elizabeth Ellen Sawyer of Morgantown, Indiana, Eileen Bright of Newport News, Virginia and step-mother Anne Sawyer of Calhoun Falls, SC. The family received friends at the home of Scott and Pattie Sawyer on Thursday, November 16, 2017. The family requested memorials be made to the charity of one’s choice in memory of Brenda.
