Obituary for Mr. Ronald Nelson Epps Sr Mr. Ronald Nelson Epps, Sr., 59, of Athens, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. Mr. Epps was born in Clarke County, son of the late William Franklin and Lou Gunter Epps.

He was the husband of Pamela Alford Epps, with whom he had celebrated 36 years of marriage. Mr. Epps worked as a painter and glass technician for Safe-Lite. His hobbies included cars and time spent at the lake.

His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family whom he dearly loved. In addition to his wife, Pamela, Mr. Epps is also survived by five children: Shelby Hosting of Danielsville, Elizabeth Nash (Timothy) of Colbert, Rachel Epps of Athens, Ronald Epps, Jr. of Hull, and Josh Epps (Laci) of Colbert. He also leaves behind seven granddaughters, 14 grandsons, two sisters, and one brother.

Mr. Epps was preceded in death by two brothers. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 12th at 11:00 a.m. in the cemetery at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hull, Georgia. Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Frady, Rodney Frady, Mark Wyatt, Timothy Nash, David Nash, Michael Loggins, and Freddie Nash.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions to assist the family with expenses be made to Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 231 Heard Street, P. O. Box 633, Elberton, Ga. 30635. Arrangements for Mr. Ronald Nelson Epps, Sr. were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
