Obituary for Brenda Sue (Dockins) Pinkston Print Brenda (Dockins) Pinkston passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019 in Wenatchee. She was born at Wideman, Arkansas February 3, 1947 to Estella Brown Dockins and Freeman Dockins. She graduated 1964 from Calico Rock High School.

In 1964 she moved to Washington State and married James Pinkston in November of that year. Brenda was a housewife until 1982 when she started college, receiving her degree in counseling psychology in 1987. She then began working for Chelan/Douglas Mental Health until 2001.

She then began working at the CWH Dialysis Center as a social worker. In 2009 she retired. Brenda loved fishing, working in her flowers, reading, dancing and visiting with friends.

She is survived by two brothers, Noel Dockins and Donnie Dockins; and three sisters, Carol Gay Bates, Pamela Dockins and Kay Dockins. She was preceded in death by Jim two years ago. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019, 10:30 am at Chapel of the Valley, 302 9th Street, Wenatchee.
