Visitation for Brett Bumgarner, 66, will be held 4 – 6:30 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will have a private burial held at a later date. Mr. Bumgarner passed away September 3, 2018.

Born in Tacoma, Washington, he was the son of the late Kelly Odell and Pamela Holmes Bumgarner. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Following his service to his country, he worked for 40 years as a flooring specialist from Columbia to Hilton Head before retiring in Lexington.

Brett, known for regaling friends and family with stories filled with his trademark characterizations and exaggerations, had a quick wit with a love of people and remarkable insight. Mr. Bumgarner is survived by numerous family and friends who all loved him dearly. He will be missed.
