A Celebration of Life Service for Brian Alan Leonard, 44, will be held 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. Visitation will be held 2 hour priors to the service from 3-5 p.m. A private burial will take place at a later date at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation; www.

He was also the son of Brenda Kay Weatherly. Brian was a fun loving father, husband, son, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend. He was happily married for 18 years with Carol.

He enjoyed every moment with his family, from traveling to the beach or the mountains with Carol and the kids, to ice cream dates with Lindsey and driving fast with Gracie. Brian also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was always in a good mood and never allowed anything to get him down.

Brian is survived by his father and his mother, wife, Carol Leonard, daughters, Gracie and Lindsey Leonard, paternal grandmother, Retha Leonard, brothers, Derek Leonard (Stacy) and Giovanni Leonard (Adrianna), sister, Stephanie Wohnhas (Jason), and numerous nieces and nephews.
