Salisbury, MA – Bruce E. Merrill, 65, of Salisbury, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, February 1, 2019 at his home. He was born in Newburyport on September 8, 1953 a son of the late Ernest D. and Helen (Souther) Merrill. Raised in Newburyport, he attended Newburyport High School and went on to work as a truck driver his entire career for various companies.

Bruce loved building and working on cars, music and spending time with his family. Surviving family members include his wife of 45 years, Kristina (Moore) Merrill; son Bruce E. Merrill Jr. and his fiancé Abigale Hawksworth of Amesbury; siblings, Ernie Merrill and wife Jane of Salisbury, Roland Merrill of Indiana, Doug Merrill and his wife Edna of Newton, NH, Paul Merrill of Gainesville, FL, Kim Berry of Epping, NH, Heidi Merrill and significant other Billy of Amesbury, Dora Michaud and her husband Danny of Haverhill and Robert Merrill and his significant other Lori of Sanford, ME; 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Pam Ramsdell, Ernestine Carrier and Priscilla Korbick.
