Bruce Edward Bennett, 83, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away May 26, 2018. He was born May 5, 1935 in Hammond, Indiana to Ed Bennett and Madge (Asbury) Bennett. He graduated from Hymera High School in 1953.

Bruce served in the United States Marine Corp. He retired from Stran-Steel. Bruce owned Fin and Paw Petshops, and he was a Realtor with Williams and Associates.

He held membership with the Hymera Masonic Lodge. Bruce was an avid follower of IU basketball, and he loved to travel. Bruce is survived by the love of his life Teri Parsons; his children Ed Bennett (Sue) and Brad Bennett; step children David Brownfield and Chris Brownfield; grandchildren Tim Bennett, Bruce Bennett, Jennifer Bennett-Klooz, and Heather Colglazier; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and also many step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 11:00a.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Amanda Thomas will officiate.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 10:00a.m. until service time. Cremation will be scheduled after services. Online condolences may be made at www.
