LouElla Mae Garner, 85, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on May 25, 2018, with her loving family by her side. She was born October 31, 1932. LouElla attended Greenwood Baptist Church.

She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. Her life was her husband, family, and home. She was preceded by her husband Russell Benton Garner, and her parents Albert Kuhener and Gladys (Stepp) Kuhener.

She is survived by her sons Loren Garner and Sam Garner; daughters Chambra Pickens (John) and Peggy Compton (Danny); grandchildren James Dilly, Sossity Paul (Timothy), Russell Cotrell, Joshua Compton (Emuriel), Samantha Garner, Lorann Sandor, Jessica Bolin (John),Ben Compton (Jennifer), Katie Garner, Jake Garner (Wanda), Kelsi Garner, and Emi Garner; 18 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and special niece Cathy Landsaw. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, May 31, 2018, at 3:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Pastor Dave Smith will officiate.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, from 1:00p.m. until service time. Cremation has been chosen after services, and a private burial will take place in Dunlap Cemetery at a later time. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
