Wilma Louise Redenbacher McGarvey Pierce, 92, of Indianapolis died on May 3, 2018 at the Hooverwood Jewish Nursing Home. She was born October 3, 1925 to Charles Redenbacher and Lydia (Wyatt) Redenbacher in Clay City, Indiana. Wilma was a retired school teacher of the LaPorte Community School system.

She is survived by her daughter Susan McGarvey Toler (Bill), son David C. McGarvey (Diann), step son Kenneth J. Pierce , daughter-in-law Lisa McGarvey, four grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and , one great-grandchild six step great-grandchild. Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Norman R. McGarvey, died 1981, and second husband William Hanley Pierce, died 2017, son Douglas N. McGarvey and step-daughter Linda L. Young. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel with services at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Riley, Indiana.
