Debra S. Vaughn, 62, of Terre Haute passed away at her residence on June 16, 2018. She was born March 4, 1956 in Terre Haute to Joseph and Marva Sue (Whitkanack) Shields. Debbie loved doing crafts, singing in church, she had belonged to the Red Hat Society, enjoyed raising money for St. Jude’s Hospital, and was a member of the Tree of Life Church in Hutsonville, Illinois.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Bruce, daughter Jennifer Keller (Brad), son William Vaughn (Cathy), sister Shirley Wright (Richard), brother Ronald Joe Shields, grandchildren; Zavier, Zoe, Trevor, Katie, Hunter, Karisa, Keirsten, and Bradyn, niece Crystal (Glen), nephew Brian, several other nieces and nephews, in-laws and friends. Debbie is preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be Thursday, June 21 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel.

Services will be Friday, June 22 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Greg Decker officiating. Burial will follow at Watson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to help offset expenses.
