Dorothea Mae Parks, 88, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away April 29, 2018. She was born March 10, 1930, in Mattoon, Illinois, to Guy Childers and Lida (Wakefield) Childers. She was a member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church.

Dorothea is survived by her husband of 68 years, Harmon Robert Parks “Bob”; her son and daughter-in-law Gary Parks and Jan; best friend Nelle Hess; and her K-9 companion Polly. No services are scheduled. In honoring her wishes, cremation has been chosen.
