Obituary for Bruce Slaven Funeral services for Bruce Slaven, 64, of Gilmer will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the chapel of McWhorter Funeral Home with Bro. H.L. Shirey and Bro. Bruce Pace officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, at McWhorter Funeral Home. Bruce was born on November 30, 1954 in Denver, Co to Kenneth Doyle Slaven and Ila Janiece Garrison Slaven and passed from this life on December 24, 2018 in Longview, Texas. Bruce married Pam Watts, March 27, 1999, and she survives.

He is also survived by his children, Jeremie Slaven, Jesse Slaven, Shawn Slaven, Mark Eitel and Brandon Eitel; his parents Doyle and Jan Slaven; sisters, Diana Denise Welch and Tammy Joy Bosso; brother Kenny Slaven; and by 12 grandchildren.
