Bruce was born on January 10, 1953 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Harvey L. Wright , Sr. and Ethel Pauline (Phipps) Wright.

He was a Baptist and long time resident of Borger. He attended Amarillo College and West Texas State University. He retired from Phillips Petroleum Company and later from Canadian River Municipal Water Authority as a Control Room Supervisor.

Preceding him in death was his father, Harvey Wright, Sr. and step-father, Phillip Allen; a brother, Harvey Wright, Jr. and a nephew, Caleb Wright Wisdom. Bruce is survived by his mother, Ethel Allen, of Fritch; his daughter, Amy Jean Lane of Austin, Texas; a sister, Sharon Wright of Amarillo; one grandson, Max Anthony; 2 granddaughters: Madelene Grace and Annabella Rose, of Austin. The family suggests memorials be given in Bruce Wright’s memory to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch or your favorite charity.

No services have been scheduled at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger.
