Bryan’s Obituary Bryan Anthony Rhodes, 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 5:25AM. He was a native and resident of Theriot, LA. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and continuing Friday, January 11, 2019 at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Theriot, LA from 11:00AM until service time.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at St. Eloi Church at 1:00PM. Burial will follow Mass in the church cemetery. Bryan is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years, Ella Rhodes; son, Ben Rhodes; daughter, Monica Robichaux and husband Kyle, three grandchildren, Kaylyn Rhodes, Jacque and Sidney Robichaux; one sister, Lana Rhodes Hand and husband Buddy, brothers and sisters in law, Patricia “Pat” Blanchard Rhodes Darcey, Jeanette Rhodes Daisy, JoAnn Alleman Olivier and husband Elton, Marilyn Alleman Porche and husband Glenn, Melva Alleman Kelpsch and husband Dale, Lynne Hebert Alleman, Valarie Alleman Porche, Elda Alleman Glover and husband Ernie, Clenese “Sonny” Alleman Jr. and wife Tami, Gary Alleman and wife Annette and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bryan is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Leona Voisin Rhodes and Adrien Joseph Rhodes; brothers, Adrian “Penny” Rhodes and Henry Rhodes; sister in law, Diane “Dee” Prosperie Rhodes; niece, Sarah Jean Hand, nephew, Taylor Caro; father in law, Clenese Joseph Alleman, Sr.; mother in law, Elda Templet Alleman, brothers in law, Alton Alleman and Barry Porche and nephew, Joshua Glover. Bryan had a long career servicing the oilfield industry for forty-five years, most recently retiring from Schlumberger (Alaska) less than two years ago. Bryan enjoyed family time, camping, fishing and crabbing, playing music, traveling, and any opportunity he had to spend with his three grandchildren.

The family wish to thank Haydel Memorial Hospice, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and most importantly friends and family for their love and support. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Rhodes family.
