Obituary for Burl F. Lyons Burl F. Lyons, 84 year old resident of Gentry, Arkansas, died April 28, 2018, at Willard Walker Hospice, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Born August 15, 1933 in Gentry, Arkansas, he was the son of William Lyons and Evelyn Jackson Lyons. Burl married Oleta Harris on December 30, 1955.

He served our country in the Navy during Vietnam and Korea, and continued in the military for 22 years retiring in 1974. Burl was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers. Survivors include his wife Oleta of the home; daughters Peggy Climer and husband Mike of Ruston, Louisiana, Linda Largent and husband Ron of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Teresa McCroskey and husband Stan of Republic, Missouri, Sharon Jesseph and husband Larry of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Donna Becker and husband Steve of Springfield, Missouri; 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and sister Jewell Kee of Modesto, California.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. In lieu flowers donations may be made to Willard Walker Hospice, 325 East Longview St., Fayetteville, AR 72703. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Burl F.
