Obituary for Calvin Lee Minesinger Calvin Lee Minesinger, age 78 of Greenbrier, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at NorthCrest Medical Center. Arrangements entrusted to Austin & Bell Funeral Home Greenbrier, 2619 Highway 41 S, Greenbrier,TN. The family will receive friends 11 am to 12 pm on Thursday, January 17th, 2019 at Ridgetop Seventh Day Adventist Church with the funeral service following at 12 pm with Pastor William Little officiating.

Burial will follow at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors. Cal was born in Pughtown, WV on October 26, 1940 to the late Norman Wilhelm and Ruth Lang Minesinger. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Robert Minesinger and David Minesinger.

He served in the US Army during the Viet Nam War. He received the National Defense Service Medal (1st award), the Good Conduct Medal (1st award) and the Joint Service Commendation Medal. He later worked as a Real Estate sales agent and was a member of the Ridgetop Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He is survived by sons, Calvin Lee (Lonnel) Minesinger, Jr. of OK, Jacob “Jake” (Jessica) Minesinger of OH, sister, Esther (Howard) Sutton of Goodlettsville, TN and seven (7) grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ridgetop Seventh Day Adventist Church for ICAP in Guatemala.
