Calvin Payne, 78, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at Tri-Star Horizon Hospital in Dickson, TN. The Scottsville, KY native was a U.S. Army veteran and the son of the late James Utah Payne and Bertie Darcus Patrick Payne. He is survived by 2 sisters: Eva Jewell Stinson, Scottsville, KY and Lela Viola Colson, Indianapolis, IN; Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Raymond Payne and Harold Payne and 4 sisters: Vinnie Jenkins, Velma Slayton, Delma Lee Payne and Beulah Parham. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in Oak Forest No.

2 Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and after 7:00 a.m. Monday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.
