Obituary of Camille Smith Camille M. (Sottanella) Smith, 70, of Pottstown, PA passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Suburban Community Hospital. She was the wife of the late Wilbur J. Smith with whom she shared 48 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, PA on August 22, 1947, Camille was the daughter of Corradino “Gary” and the late Catherine (Lombardo) Sottanella.

Camille loved going to the beach, but her favorite thing to do was spend time with her four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren! She is survived by two daughters, Maryann Chavez, Abington, PA, and Madelyn Kelsey, wife of Kendall, Pottstown, PA; one step-son, James Smith; two siblings, Gary Sottanella, Gilbertsville, PA, and Catherine Morris, wife of Aaron, Philadelphia, PA; four grandchildren, Sheria Chavez, Oman Chavez, Ariel Ellison, and Madison Kelsey; and two great-grandchildren, Analaya and Jordaya Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will take place on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place after the service at Limerick Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers a tribute gift may be made in Camille’s memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation at secure3.
