OBITUARY Candelaria Salinas February 2, 1933 – October 12, 2018 Candelaria Salinas, 85, went to be with our Lord on October 12, 2018 in El Campo, TX. She was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on February 2, 1933 to Domingo Gamez and Maria Martinez. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Raul Salinas and her parents, Domingo and Maria.

Candelaria is survived by her children, Armando (Yolanda) Salinas, Guadalupe (Elena) Salinas, David Salinas, Raul (Dreama) Salinas, Jr., Norma (Ricardo) Magallan, Daniel (Carolina) Salinas, Paula (Julian) Ortiz; & numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Candelaria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She always loved to spend time with family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. Visitation will take place Monday, October 15, 2018 from 5pm – 9pm with the rosary to be recited at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel of Serenity. Funeral Mass will take place Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 2pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 2209 Kendlewood Ave, McAllen, TX 78501.

Interment to follow at Valley Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 Taylor Rd, Mission, TX 78573.
