Obituary for Carissa A. Pietrantonio Carissa A. Pietrantonio, 37, of Las Vegas, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 in Las Vegas. She was born January 22, 1981 in Iron Mountain, the daughter of Frank Pietrantonio and Katherine Ringuette. Carissa graduated from Kingsford High School in 1999.
She resided in Las Vegas for most of her life, working for the Nevada Power Company for 10 years and most recently was employed at KD Homes. Carissa was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. She loved listening to a wide variety of music, as well as going to concerts.
Whenever she was with her family and friends she always had an infectious smile. She loved coming home to spend time with her family and her son, Antonio meant the world to her. Carissa is survived by her husband, Greg Salas and her son, Antonio, both of Las Vegas; her mother, Kathy Ringuette (Bill Dean) of Iron Mountain; her father, Frank Pietrantonio of Iron Mountain; two brothers, Josh Pietrantonio of Grand Rapids, MI and Frankie Pietrantonio (Chelsea Menard) of Green Bay, WI; three sisters, Diane Pietrantonio of Iron Mountain, Pietra Scigliano (Steve) of Vulcan and Tanya Matthews of MI; aunts and uncles, Sandy (Greg) Hendricks, Cindy (Larry) Koller, Diane (Dennis) Safemaster, Dave (Sue) Ringuette and Nick (Ginny) Pietrantonio; cousins, Tanya, Scott, Charlie, Nicole, Keith, Tara, Tony, Bruce, Nick, Tina and Dean; and several other extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Anthony and Lois Ringuette and her paternal grandparents, Frank “Chic” and Anna Pietrantonio. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 28 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain. Memorial services will follow at 1:00pm at the funeral Home.
Rev. Walter Reichle will officiate. Burial will be in Iron Mountain Cemetery Park.
