Obituary for Carmen Marie Ambrosia Carmen Ambrosia, 91, of Iron Mountain, passed away on Saturday June 30, 2018 at Florence Health Center, in Florence, Wisconsin She was born February 9, 1927 in Iron Mountain, MI, daughter of the late Nick Mario and Anna Marie Paoletti. She was a lifelong resident of Iron Mountain, graduating from the Iron Mountain High School in 1945. She worked at the Iron Mountain Daily News following graduation until her retirement.

She married Clarence “Clary” Ambrosia on September 14, 1974 at the Immaculate Conception Church. He preceded her in death on October 5, 2000. She was a long time member of Immaculate Conception Church.

Carmen was one of the first woman Classified Advertising Manager of a Daily Newspaper in the United States. She is survived by one brother, Raphael N Paoletti of Iron Mountain; one nephew, Nick M. Paoletti III of Menominee, formerly of Kingsford; and one niece, Linda (James) Stewart of Vulcan; brother-in-law, Albert (Janet) Ambrosia of Iron Mountain and several nieces and nephews. Carmen was preceded in death by one brother, Nick M Paoletti II, a niece, Ann Marie Paoletti and a nephew, Michael R. Paoletti.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 am Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church. Msgr.

James Kaczmarek will offer the Mass of Christian Burial.
