Carl A. Johnson, 57, of Machesney Park, passed away June 11, 2018. Born in Sacramento, CA on June 20, 1960 to Elwin and Shirley Johnson. Graduated from Harlem High School.

Carl married Joanna Groves on March 18, 2004. Carl was a truck driver for 37 years, with a Million Mile Driver award earned in 2017 and raced at Rockford Speedway a long time. He is survived by his wife Joanna; three stepsons; five grandchildren; two sisters and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents. A small service will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Sinnissippi Gardens from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
