Obituary for Carl Leon “Leon” Rice Carl Leon Rice, age 72 of Alexandria, KY (formerly of Pendleton Co.), passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. He was born in Gray’s Creek, KY on February 27, 1946, son of the late Wilson Carl and Dora Begley Rice. Leon was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp.

, Dallas, TX Police Officer and a huge Golfer. He is survived by his daughter Kristi (Gary) Lemons and granddaughter Kenidi Morris. Visitation will be held 10-1pm Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler.

Funeral service will immediately follow at 1pm Wednesday, also at the funeral home. Leon’s final resting place will be at Butler Cemetery under full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VFW Post 3205, 8261 Alexandria Pike, Alexandria, KY 41001 or Pendleton County Animal Shelter 1314 Bryan Griffin Road, Butler, KY 41006.
