Carlee Barnwell Wyatt, 80, of Gatlinburg, TN passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018. She was born on November 8, 1938 to her parents, Carl and Melba Barnwell, and grew up in the Tabor community of Crossville, TN. Carlee married the love of her life, Hoy Wyatt, in June 1954.

She owned and operated her Beauty Salon and Beauty School for years. Carlee and Hoy moved to Gatlinburg, TN in 1976 and entered into real estate and other business ventures. She loved spending time with her family and cherished every moment with her children and grandchildren. Carlee will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Venable and Melba Hamby Barnwell; her husband, Hoy Wyatt; daughter, Dayna Day; sister, Connie Hill; brother, Rondal Barnwell; and nephews, Carl Barnwell and Brian Smith.

Carlee is survived by her son, Eddie Wyatt and wife, Anna Wyatt of Sebring, FL; grandchildren, Laura Holbert and husband, John Holbert of Pigeon Forge, TN, James Wade of Sevierville, TN, Darrel Wyatt of Crossville, TN, and Carlee Wyatt of Rossville, GA; great-grandchildren, Natalie and Cooper Holbert, James and Kylea Wade, Trace Huddleston, Eli Wyatt, Koi Wyatt, and Jay Hassler; sister, Carolyn Whittenburg of Crossville, TN; several generations of nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends. Memorial donations are encouraged to be sent to the Sevier County Humane Society, P. O. Box 976, Pigeon Forge, TN 37868. The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM Wednesday, December 26th with the funeral service to follow at 1 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.

Brother Terry Barnwell will be officiating and Eddie Wyatt will provide the eulogy. The graveside and interment will follow the funeral in Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens, Pigeon Forge. Online condolences may be made at www.
