Obituary for Carlton J. Ledet Carlton J. Ledet passed away peacefully on November 16, 2018 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Beverly Ledet. Father of Juli Aucoin (Lionel), Danny Ledet (Robin), Lisa Ferrell (W.C.), Mark Ledet (Sherrie) and Suzette Ledet.

Grandfather of Jaret, Sandi (Jonathan), Leigh, Daniel (Angela), Caitlin, Willie (Gracie), Aaron, Simon, Drew, Celeste and Elise. Great-grandfather of Elliana, Emilia, Cayden, Noah and Isiah. Brother of Benny Ledet Jr. (Linda), the late Sandra Thomas (Derrick) and baby Robert Ledet.

Son of the late Benny Joseph Ledet and Maude Punch Ledet. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He served his country in the U.S Marine Corps during the Korean War and later graduated from L.S.U. with his degree in petroleum engineering.

He began his career with Avondale Shipyard at 17 years of age as a pipefitter helper with his father and retired 45 years later as Senior Vice-President. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. , Marrero, LA on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 9am to 11am.
