OBITUARY Elizabeth Suthon Woods July 14, 1965 – November 11, 2018 Elizabeth Suthon Woods passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2014, at the age of 53, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She is survived by her sons, Cooper Suthon Woods and Foster Frye Woods; husband, Thomas Cooper Woods; sister, Sally Suthon and niece Josephine Jason. She was preceded in death by her mother, Warrene Hayne Suthon; father, Walter J. Suthon, III; and sister Warrene Hayne Suthon.

Elizabeth was born in New Orleans and attended Trinity Episcopal School and Metairie Park Country Day School. She graduated from the University of Virginia. After college, she lived in New York and New Orleans, ultimately settling in New Orleans in 2005.

Elizabeth was a member of the Garden Study Club of New Orleans and a past board member of Trinity Episcopal School. Though her life was cut short too soon, she lived it to the fullest. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church at 10 AM on Thursday November 15th with a reception to follow at the Parish House.
