Obituary for Cary J. Gomez Cary J. Gomez passed away peacefully on November 12, 2018 at the age of 54 years. Beloved husband of Norma Cooper Gomez. Father of Chance Gomez (Shaiy Johnson), Chucky Gomez, Brittany Gomez Ford (Derrick) and the late Cody Gomez.

Grandfather of Caleb and Adelyn Ford. Brother of Tammy Gomez Gifford (Skip), Danny Gomez and Dawn Gomez Lauland (Byron). Son of Elmarede Cormier Gomez and the late Stanley Gomez.

Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Cary was a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA and graduated from West Jefferson High School, Class of 1982. He worked for Aardvark Contractors for over 30 years and later for Tulane University.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to No One Fights Alone (www. noonefightsalonenola.org). Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd.

, Marrero, LA on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 5pm to 10pm, resuming on Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 8am to 11am. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
