Carmela Marie “Millie” Cosgrove, 80, formerly of Sugarloaf, passed away, late Wednesday evening, October 31, 2018 at Fritzingertown Senior Living Community, Drums, where she had been a resident for the past year. Born in Manhattan, NY, January 24, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Carmela (Criscuolo) Guerriero, Prior to residing at Fritzingertown, she had spent the previous 22 years in Sugarloaf after moving from Yonkers, NY. Carmela was a retired Medical Records Clerk for Miseracordia Hospital, Bronx, NY.

She was a member of St. John Bosco RC Church, Sugarloaf. She was a devoted wife and mother, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by a brother Angelo Guerriero, who passed away in 2014.

Surviving are her husband, George, to whom she was married on October 12, 1963 in New York City; a son Marc Cosgrove and his companion Kimberly Osborne, West Pittston; and several nieces and nephews. All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
