Carol A. Perry, age 80, formerly of York Springs, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Green Ridge Village in Newville. She was born Monday, September 27, 1937 in Scranton, the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Miles) Richards. Carol graduated from West Scranton High School in 1955.

She was formerly employed in the post office of Messiah College for 8 years. She was a member of Grace Bible Chapel, in Gardners. She taught Sunday School at her church for close to 40 years.

She… Read More » also played the piano for the church for about 12 years. She and her husband housed many visiting missionaries, over the years. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren, playing board games and card games with them, and going to their different events.

Her hobbies included doing puzzles, baking cookies with her grandchildren, and reading. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roy Perry. She is also survived by three daughters: Dianna L. and husband Seth Cashman of Lewisberry, Darlene L. Baral of Dillsburg and husband Fred Baral of York Springs, Debra L. and husband Rick Jennings of Pfafftown, NC, four grandchildren, Sharon L. Jennings, Jessica N. Baral, Caleb P. Baral, Anna R. Baral, and two brothers, David Richards of Welcome, NC, Allen Richards of Scranton.

She was preceded in death by a brother Robert Richards. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 12 at 2:00 PM at Grace Bible Chapel, 5575 Oxford Road, Gardners with Reverend Matthew Jury officiating.

Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Bible Chapel, 5575 Oxford Road, Gardners, PA.
