Obituary for Carol Lafay Sylvester Carol Lafay Sylvester Memorial services for Carol Lafay Sylvester of El Reno will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Private interment of the cremains will be held at a later date by the family in the El Reno Cemetery. Mrs. Sylvester passed away on January 3, 2019 in the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City.

She grew up in Putnam, moved to El Reno in the 50’s where she has resided since. She had worked as a nurse for Park View Hospital and then in Home Health Care. She attended the Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include: Son: Billy Cox & wife Tasha of El Reno, OK. Daughter: Shelly Miller & husband Paul Miller of Mustang, OK. 2 – Brothers: Lynn McGarvin & wife Betty of Okarche, OK.

Wendell McGarvin & wife Betty Barnett of Ponca City, OK. 3 – Grandchildren: Ryan Cox, Ashley Ferguson, Preston Knott 2 – Great Grandchildren: Paydon Knott & Paisley Knott with Adalyn Dawn on the way, numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
