Obituary for Carol Montgomery Carol Montgomery of Munfordville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Homer Kearney and Mary Helen McNear Kearney Browning, was born February 23, 1941, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 2:45 P.M., Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in Munfordville. Age: 77 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt.

Beulah United Methodist Church in Hart County. Carol was a dedicated homemaker who loved her family very much. She united in marriage to Ed Montgomery August 7, 1959.

Besides her husband, Ed Montgomery of Munfordville, she is survived by three daughters: Sherry Mason and husband, Joe of Charlotte, North Carolina, Cindy Hughes and husband, Scott of Bowling Green and Tonya Montgomery and Ronney Calton of Lexington; four grandchildren: Trey Mason and wife, Lina of Charlotte, North Carolina, Josh Jewell and Nick Jewell of Louisville and Ashley Scott of Bowling Green; four step-grandchildren: Emily Miller and husband, Nick of Paducah, Jon Hughes of Nashville, Tennessee, Matt Hughes and wife, Hannah of Cleveland, Tennessee and Zach Hughes of Nashville, Tennessee; three great-grandchildren: Aislyn Jewell and Adaleigh Jewell of Louisville and John Mason of Charlotte; North Carolina; three step-great-grandchildren: Chloe Miller and Elliot Miller of Paducah and Lilly Hughes of Cleveland, Tennessee; three brothers and one sister: Larry Kearney and wife, Betty of Campbellsville, Mike Kearney and wife, Stephanie of Groesbeck, Texas, Ralph Kearney and wife, Carolyn of Cox’s Creek and Darlene Perkins of Frankfort; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
