She loved school and making friends. She graduated from high-school and Snow College in Ephraim. She married soon after college and didn’t take much time before she started having her family of 9 children.

She and her husband lived in Ephraim, Gunnison, Cedar City, Brigham City, Boulder City, NV, and ended up in Manti where she stayed until after their divorce. She then moved to Orem where she spent the past 20 years. Carolena spent her whole life serving others.

Many nights she stayed up waiting for the last one to come through the door ready to console or hear the excitement of the day. She was a piano player and often accompanied her husband while practicing his musical numbers. She made and delivered innumerable lunches to our father’s job sites whether in town or on the farm.
