Obituary for Caroline M. Kolano (Revers) Caroline M. (Revers) Kolano, 71, of North Huntingdon passed away after a 13 year courageous battle with cancer on Saturday June 30, 2018 at her home. She was born December 21, 1946, in Braddock a daughter of the late Stanley C. and Margaret F. (Wessel) Revers. She was a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in North Huntingdon.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister Dolly Iovino and a brother Eugene Revers. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her universe, they adored her, and she was the best. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her loving husband of 53 years Eugene W. Kolano; three children Kimberly Bressler and husband, Terry, of North Huntingdon, Christine Bender and husband, Scott, of Irwin and Eugene Kolano Jr. and wife, Julie, of Irwin; seven grandchildren Caitlyn (Justin) Skrabec, Tyler (Kendra Swinston) Bressler, Mackenna Bressler, Jacob and Zachary Bender, Oliver and Esmae Caroline Kolano; one great grandchild Emerson Caroline Skrabec; three brothers Robert, Ronald and Stanley Revers; a sister Darlene Revers and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania avenue Irwin. Parting prayers will be held 9:15 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
Entombment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery & Mausoleum North Versailles. The family suggest in lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to the Hillman Cancer Center at UPMC Cancer Pavilion suite 1B 5150 Centre Avenue Pittsburgh PA 15232.
