Obituary for John F. “Jack” Naughton John F. “Jack” Naughton, 83, of North Huntingdon died Sunday October 21, 2018 in the Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. He was born December 3, 1934, in Braddock a son of the late Eugene and Cecilia (Schinski) Naughton. Prior to his retirement he was employed as Director of Maintenance Operation Development for US Air in Pittsburgh.
He was a member of the St. Agnes Church, in North Huntingdon. Jack was also a member of the Italian Miners Society, of Hahntown and a social member of the Fairmont-Hahntown Fire Department. He was a veteran of the United States Airforce.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son-in-law Daniel J. Maghery. Surviving are his wife of 61 years Janet (Gallo) Naughton; a daughter Leisa Maghery, of Penn Township; two grandchildren Kaitlyn Alexee Maghery, of Irwin and Tyler Daniel Maghery, of Manor; a brother James Naughton, of New Jersey; a sister Maureen Ecknrode, of North Versailles; sister-in-law Donna “Peaser” Farro, of North Huntingdon and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday October 30, 2018 at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin.
Parting prayers will be held 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in the St. Agnes Church, In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Forbes Hospice 115 South Neville Street Pittsburgh PA 15213.
