Obituary for Richard A. “Dick” Eyler Richard A. “Dick” Eyler, 76, of North Huntingdon died Monday November 12, 2018 at his home. He was born January 9, 1942, in Greensburg a son of the late Frank W. and Marie (Hand) Eyler. Richard was manager and co-owner of the Inter County Airport.
He was a veteran of the Air Force. He was a member of the aircraft owners and Pilots Assoc. , of Frederick MD, the Experimental Aircraft Assoc.
of Oshkosh WI. Dick was a talented guitarist, singer and an avid reader; he entertained at many venues throughout the area. Surviving are brother and sisters Jeanne Swanson and her husband, Robert, of Boynton Beach Fl, Dale Christopher and her husband ,Thomas, of Sarasota FL, Donna Robinson and her husband, William, of Transfer, PA, Robert “Buzz” Eyler and his wife, Pam, of North Huntingdon and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 12 Noon in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Glenn Meyers of the Ardara Evangelical Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Irwin Union Cemetery, North Huntingdon.
