Obituary for Michael Kolano Michael Kolano, 73 North Huntingdon died Tuesday December 18, 2018 at his home. He was born July 23, 1945 in Braddock, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary Bielec Kolano. Prior to his retirement, Michael was employed as a millwright for United States Steel Edgar Thompson Works, he was a member of the Cavitsville Sportsmen’s Club and a social member of the Wendel-Herminie #2 Athletic Association.
Michael appreciated the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Shelia (Strutt) Kolano, two children, Dana Vorce and her husband Shane and Michael Kolano and his wife Lisa both of North Huntingdon. Six grandchildren; Luke, Drew, Leah, and Hanna Vorce, and Kaitlyn and Lexie Kolano.
Also surviving are two sisters, Carol Ternoway of North Huntingdon, and Patti Zyhowski of Buffalo, NY. Friends will be received at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. on Sunday from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm at which time a service will take place. To send online condolences please visit www.
