Obituary for John W. Ginnevan Print John W. Ginnevan, 95, of North Huntingdon died Monday January 28, 2019 at his home. He was born January 13, 1924, in Turtle Creek to the late John W. and Marie Lorene (Mitsch) Ginnevan. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a lineman for Duquesne Light.
He was a veteran of WWII having served in the Army. He was a member of the Manor American Legion post 472. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Marilyn J. (Cribbs) Ginnevan and a sister Patricia Lockhart.
Surviving are two children Timothy Ginnevan and his wife, Ann, of North Huntingdon and Beth Shoaf and her husband, William, of Youngwood; a grandson Mathew Riemen Schneider and his wife, Sarah; a sister Mary Takacs, of FL. All services will be private. The family suggest in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Wildlife Works, Inc. PO Box 113 Youngwood, PA 15697 of Humane Society of Westmoreland County PO Box 1552 Greensburg, PA 15601.
