Obituary for Edward Jay “Eddie J.” Jurkiewicz Edward Jay “Eddie J.” Jurkiewicz, of Westmoreland City, loving father and son, passed away on November 20, 2018 at the age of 62. He was born November 10, 1956 in Greensburg, he was the son Alma (Means)Jurkiewicz of Westmoreland City and the late Edward Jurkiewicz. Ed truly saw the beauty of the outdoors and was an avid outdoorsman.
He loved spending time hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He was an avid Steelers, Penguins and Pirates fan. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children, Nathaniel and Caitlin Jurkiewicz and their mother Beth Jurkiewicz; two brothers, Rod Jurkiewicz and his wife Nancy of Alabama, Daryl Jurkiewicz and his wife Ruth of Mechanicsburg, sister Jill Jurkiewicz of North Huntingdon.
Nieces and nephews, Jeff, Matthew, Ryan, Jamie, and a very special neice Salena. Cousins Debbie, Vickie, and Tami. Also surviving are a special friend Dave Bogonovich.
Friends will be received on Saturday from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin where a Service will be held at 5 pm.
