Obituary for Dr. Walter Fabry Jr Dr. Walter G. Fabry Jr. age 87, of Virginia formerly of Irwin and Rehoboth, DE died October 1, 2018 in Arbor Terrace, Manassas Va. He was born in Braddock on October 20, 1930 the son of the late Walter G. Sr. and Lucille (Treese) Fabry.
He is also predeceased by his wife Laura (Zumpe) Fabry. He is survived by his daughter Martha Lawrence of VA and three grandsons, Kenneth, Ethan and Charles Lawrence. Dr. Fabry was a graduate of The Kiski School, and the Ohio College of Podiatry.
Dr. Fabry was a Podiatrist in the McKeesport and Irwin/North Huntingdon area before his retirement. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Shidle Lodge # 601, F&AM, of Irwin, and a member of Irwin Sportsmen’s Association and White Oak Rod & Gun Club.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11 am in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery. Masonic services will be held on Friday at 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children or the First Presbyterian Church of Irwin.
