Obituary for David Lee Paterline David Lee Paterline, 69, of Penn Township died Friday September 21 2018 in the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born December 20, 1948, in Charleroi a son of the late Dante Cristoforo and Margaret (Franks) Paterlini. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a Software Engineer in the Nuclear Fuel Division of Westinghouse.
He was a member of the Community United Methodist Church in Harrison City. David was one of the founding members of the Penn Trafford Soccer Club, and coached the Penn Trafford High School Boys Soccer for 19 years. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother and a sister; Daniel and Betty Paterline.
Surviving are his wife Mary Jo (Wood) Paterline; two sons David D. Paterline and his wife, Jennifer, of Murrysville, Mitchell W. Paterline and his wife, Nicole, of Penn twp. ; six grandchildren Sidney, Abigail, Eli, Kate, David and Phoebe; sister and brother Nancy Cochran, of Springdale, Ronald Paterline and his wife, Nancy, of Gibsonia; sister-in-law Helen Paterline, of Fairmont, W VA and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 2 to 4 & 6- 8; 30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Community United Methodist Church Harrison City officiated by Pastor Rich Phipps. Interment will follow in the Irwin Union Cemetery, North Huntingdon. The family suggest in lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to the Community United Methodist Church 3487 Route 130 Irwin PA 15642 or Allegheny General Hospital Heart Institute 320 East North Avenue Pittsburgh PA 15212 5814.
