Carolyn A. Anderson passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Bayside Manor, Keansburg, NJ. She was born February 3, 1943 in Kearny, NJ. Her parents George and Helen Anderson, sister Chrystal Laytham and brother George Levesen predeceased her.

Carolyn received her BA degree from Monmouth College, and she had a rewarding career at Fort Monmouth. Carolyn resided in Holiday City South in Toms River, NJ prior to her illness. She was active in the Toms River ELKS Lodge and Ocean County Artists’ Guild.

Oil painting was a hobby she enjoyed and showcased at various art shows. Carolyn is survived by her nieces, Susan Chitwood, Karen Ciriello, Deborah Levesen, Nancy Tacona, Lois Hoffman and nephews, Raymond Laytham and George Levesen. “Aunt Carolyn” loved to spend time with all of her great nieces and great nephews taking them on outings and sleepovers.

She will be missed by all. Her services are private.
