She was born on September 11, 1930 in Belen, New Mexico to the late Byron and Hazel (Armstrong) Smith. Carolyn was a member of the United Methodist Church of Estancia, NM.

She was also and Eastern Star, Advisor for the Rainbow Girls. Beta Sigma Phi, was a Cub Scout Den Mother and held many positions in the church. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and community.

Carolyn is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Moore and brother, Lloyd Smith. She is survived by her sons, Pat Moore of Estancia, NM and Raymond Moore of Estancia, NM; daughter, Terry Ann Moore of Estancia, NM and grandchildren, Aaron Moore, Andrew Moore and Beth and Camden Larmer. A Graveside Memorial Service will be on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
